I use my love of atmosphere to form my art. I design the dark atmosphere of my art to be the focus over details. Not that there are not details. Each piece requires that I add what I call “the shadow dance” to get the look and feeling I am striving to show.

I have always been drawn to the grey of a day of rain. And the quiet mystery of night from a window.

My current work is created with graphite on paper then coated with clear gesso. Allowing the shadows to come to life with the addition of color and texture.
